"Scores on the doors!"

Hello, I've just submitted the PY return for Stewartby today and thought I would share some of the numbers we got out for the Sprint 15. Do bear in mind that the races we've submitted date cover a period from June 2012 - December 15th 2013. Sprint 15 Una Rig Raced in 193 of 210 races at the club. Ma...

Re: Training

Hi Mark. We've kinda made a promise to do more class based training at Stewpot as part of our club development plan and all eyes are on our Sprint 15 fleet give we have our own start and all. My guess is we should be able to easily rustle-up 9 boats for this out of our fleet and put some on locally....

Re: Stewartby Sprint 15 Winter TT - 2nd November

Hello everyone. I hope you're all looking forward to tomorrow's event. Just a couple of matters to bring to your attention: 1. ROADWORKS - There are roadworks in Green Lane and a diversion in place to get to the club. This will affect anyone coming from the A421 or M1. The diversion takes you down B...

Stewartby Sprint 15 Winter TT - 2nd November

Hello all. It's that time of year again where I yet again cut 'n' paste the announcement I posted last year into a fresh one so I can announce that the first of the Winter TT Series events is taking place next weekend at Stewartby. The format is as before. Two races, first race at 11.15 am. Briefing...

Re: Stewartby Sprint 15 Winter TT - 3rd November

Yeah, sorry about that. I've started a new job for an american company and my brain, along with the rest of me a lot of the time, has been elsewhere most of this winter.

Anyhow, Claire did a cracking job with the report. Shame it sat on my dining table for 3 months.

Re: PN

If it's any interest, Stewpot contributed just under 100 races to the Standard Mode and 50 races to the SPORT mode (mainly Robin Hall, plus others). The number of races used for the calculations is quite low for the Sport Mode (358). All our races were sent in using the pys.org.uk tool and it report...

Re: Keeping my rudders up !

Mine are prone to dropping down when moving the boat around the boat-park even on tiny bumps. I've serviced my rudders with new parts from brian but it didn't really fix dropping but did remove all the play when down. I've given-up on trying to diagnose the problem and put in place some mitigation. ...

Re: Stewartby Sprint 15 Winter TT - 3rd November

Right, I've sent the excel spreadsheet we had on the day to Bob and Erling. Please do remember that I posted a link to the results on the stewpot site on the day and I can see from the website's stats it's been a popular page. The report is way overdue and I'm sorry for that. You'll get one in a day...

There was beer left. Where the hell were you? No, seriously. A great turn-out again and I'd like to thank all those who have travelled a good distance to join us today. If you're interested, we've put the results up on our site. Please go to: http://www.swsc.org.uk/sail/results/2012-sprint15-winter....

Re: Carsington Cat Open

Erling,

You've only got a short section of roadworks now between junctions 10 and 12 now. Past 12 it's pretty much clear all the way.

Interesting RRS (2013-2016) Rule Change

You may or may not be aware, but ISAF have published the new RRS that takes effect from Jan 1st on their website. The copy they've included helpfully marks-up the changes. Take a look at http://www.sailing.org/tools/documents/ISAFRRS20132016Final-[13376].pdf . It's a PDF document so you'll need Adob...
