Marconi TT B&B

I had planned to come to the Marconi TT on 19th/20th April but won't be able to now. Sad as that is where I got my boat from last year so would have been nice to sail it there. I had already booked single B&B accomadation at the Bellropes, Bradwell on Sea and was about to cancel but wondered if ...

You would have been very welcome to join Pevensey Bay, we are now up to 3 Dart 15's!
Perhaps you will come to the Cat Open at Pevensey Bay Sailing Club, 24th-26th May, see the Sprint 15 events page, and see what it’s like.

Hi Bob Yep I do stand right at the back and I was passing the righting line under the other hull. Only seems to work for me if waves, in a fairly calm sea I just stand there bouncy up and down until I eventually fall off! Effectively pulling from the far side right near the bow, which is what the bi...

Righting an inverted boat

Bob I have been studying your excellent tips on righting an inverted boat. I have had quite a bit of trouble with this recently (or fairly recently, ever weekend when I have been free to sail recently has been cancelled due to strong wind!), every time I go over, which is often, the boat seems to in...

Unfortunately I seem to have gone down with a bad cold and am having trouble breathing and so won’t be coming to Grafham. This is particularly annoying as I loaded my new boat and brought it home last weekend, have paid £21 for entry, £12.50 for the evening meal and a £20 deposit on the B&B! Bef...

Does the sailing club get locked up at night?
I am likely to arrive sometime betwwen 9 & 10 Friday evening and am not sure what the parking is like at the the B&B so it could be useful to drop the boat off

The latest dinghy mag has an article about some youngsters that crossed the north sea, from Brightlingsea sailing club to Ostend, doing the 80 miles in 6.5 hours. Think they had an incident involving a capsize and a ship but don't remember anything about lunch, oh and they were in Tornado's not S 15's
