Re: Flying pig in Hull serial number

The long distance event has become our most popular, everyone comes off the water absolutely knackered but elated at finishing. You are pretty much guaranteed to have a brilliant time. If you intend to do both days it's worth sorting accommodation out early as everywhere gets booked out. Honest revi...

Re: Hatch sizes different to Windsport supplied

Hi Bob, Thanks for the info. At least I know I'm not going mad  I've already ordered a set of the Barton hatches as they were the first I found that had sizes that matched the holes. Nice thing about standards, there's so many to choose from :D So I'll see how they perform. Regards, John

Re: Flying pig in Hull serial number

It is indeed Erlings boat. I aquired it late last year from the guy that bought it from him. It's having a bit of a make over. Years of sailing on Salt water have taken its toll it seems. It now lives at Bala Sailing club in North Wales.

Regards,
John

Flying pig in Hull serial number

While renovating a hull today I poked the camera on a string into the rear hatch to see what horrors might be there. Presumably the S. African builders had a sense of humour....

We're still working on the event details but it definately involves going hell for leather round a course on Lake Bala, set in the stunning scenery of Ery...
