Foam Battens

What happened to the results of the foam batten test. Having once again spent over £100 on battens it would be nice to have a direction on whether the foam battens are to become class legal.I see Steve Sawford is still selling them with a note stating they are not class legal.

Firstly, I really enjoyed the racing Saturday my first time out in an open meet with the Sprint 15's having only got the boat in August. Secondly a Sprint 15 tiller extension less the end of the UJ was handed to me yesterday when I was on OD duty at Draycote (standard aluminium laser type). Jan reck...

Thanks guys, In summary it is not class legal to use a continuous 8mm line (bit of a daft rule but rules is rules) so this answers the question of whether an 8mm line would function in the mainsheet cleat. So its tie or whip them together. Will look at this after I've changed the mainsheet as I have...

Continuous Main and Traveller Sheet

I noticed in the technical tips that in Sport mode a continuous main and traveller are useful. What length would you use and given the two cleats in the standard set up look different does one need changing or is there a size of rope that works for both?

So now have the task of matching the rest to another unless I can find a numeral 1 from the original Lasr...

Thanks Kevin, All I can find in the rules is the following: (b) The sail numbers and Class emblems shall be placed on both sides of the mainsail, Sail numbers and emblems shall sharply contrast in colour with the sail and shall be placed at different heights on the two sides of the sail, those on th...

1941

Just purchase Millenium Edition 1941 from Nick Black in Ealing who has had the boat from new. Nick tells me the boat has spent most of its life in his garage since new and from the mainsail condition which is still nice and crisp it sounds about right. Boat will be sailed at Draycote Water so just n...
