Not wishing to get too political, but what about getting rid of ofcom and financing the RNLI with that huge pile of cash they probably waste every year. Although I'm sure they probably do a huge amount of good and enrich our lives.

I can certainly vouch for making sure you are pointing into the wind. My first capsize (a few weeks ago) turned into my second and third as I pulled the boat up and was then blown straight back over. Bit of learning curve for me that afternoon.

After my narrow escape, I can see what a good idea they are and have bought one myself.
