Dart 15 Wanted

One of our members at Draycote has a son who wants a Dart 15. He wants a starter boat and is looking to pay around £1000 anyone know of anything, there don't seem to be many good starter boats out there at the moment.

Would like to try these new battens, have been frustrated at the lack of longevity of the current glass battens and now need more after recent breakages.Would prefer to try the new type to see if they are any better.

Could another set be sourced for use at Draycote Water?

Brian,

Are you coming to the traveller at Graffham this weekend. If so you could drop some battens for me with one of the Draycote boys and save me the P&P.

If you could let me know I can pay for the parts in advance.

My telephone number is 0776 255 8215.

Broken batens

Now that Laser have stopped stocking battens is there a supplier in the midlands at all? P&P on these is not cheap and Laser was local to me.

I would be prepared to make a contribution towards a further test sail for club racing use if something could be worked out.Could maybe sail the club summer series on sail we time our handicap so could be gathering some good data. I would be monosailing though as this is my preferred format. Graham ...

Back on the subject of the sail itself, would the new sail be good for those of us who like to sail una rig? On a note of caution when the fireball fleet introduced the new mylar sail there was a development phase to get the cloth chosen correct. At Draycote currently we are trialling a similar deve...
