Sail number positioning

Hi all,
can anyone tell me the correct positioning of the numbers on a new sail please? My best guess from viewing Photographs is starboard side high , 200 mm from leech , 100 mm up from baton on 5th panel and 100 mm between?
Thanks

Old Sails

Hi all, I thought I would make a suggestion as to a use for your old sails should you have a spare. I sail a Sprint (albeit badly) at Draycote. As most do, I like going out when there's a blow but some times get overpowered on occasions even with two up and one on the wire. One of the guys who sails...

Hi all Thanks for your replies. It was never my intention to counter the sail more a case of sharing the experience with my son. However I was out with a heavy weight friend( Probably 30 stone in all) on Thursday evening in a blow and got thoroughly washed with waves and spray and couldn't see a thi...

Twin Trapease

Hi All,
Any one fitted additional trapease wires. My 11 years old has had his first flyer recently and I would like to go out there with him in the right conditions.

Martin,
reaching in waves must be a bit hair but sounds fun. What are you using to measure you speed, do you find it helps which sail trim etc?

. Just noticed this, I bought this bought which got some positive remarks from guys at Draycote re general condition Paid £1650 and love it. Yes the sails could do with replacing and the battens have now been repaired numerous times through me sailing in conditions I perhaps shouldn't and not readin...

Thanks all for your replies, I get the feeling I am trying to run before I can walk as it were, but then nothing ventured etc. A bit late re the pitch pole advice (although appreciated) as I learnt this interesting manoeuvre trying to follow Derek James through a high wind gibe, he made it! Re the S...

speed

Hi all, being new to the sport, I have a couple of questions. Sorry if this sounds like a daft question but does the sprint have a maximum speed or has anyone recorded an achieved speed? Secondly, is it possible to fly the Windward hull on a broadreach as I have read this the fastest way to sail, th...
