Out of Africa prototype [Bob]

Bob replied:

Hi Grant
I was sailing it and won in testing conditions so I have no complaints. It was good.
There is a list of little stuff that needs correcting which we are channeling through Brian Phipps, but it is an encouraging start.

OoA Prototype [Charles]

It looks like a Sprint & appears to sail like a good one!

Clearly in Bob's hands it is quick, but the good thing is thats all, quick; not out of site so as to make the existing fleet in any way out of date.

It won't force anyone to buy a new one, but as long as it proves to be robust it'll find some willing buyers fairly soon.

Read all about it in the write up. The short version is on the Y&Y website - the long version will be on this web site any day.

How did you work that out, old man? [Bob]

Bob replied:

Saturday was a reasonable wind F3ish but very variable and gusty. Sunday was lighter and more consistent.
You should come next time and find out for yourself.

Has anyone seen Frank Sandalls in his cap? Looks like Andy Capp.
