Just got my copy today and read the 4-page in-depth report on the new boat.
Verdict - nothing less than expected.
A well written report by Jeremy Evans who has put the boat through it's paces, concluding that in spite of it's age - fast approaching 30 years now, the design is well proven, continuing to provide exciting and exhilarating 1-up/2-up/trapezing sailing for teenagers to pensioners (and we have some of both) at a very modest price, compared to many other classes, and does not need new sails every other year to remain competitive within the fleet, so running costs are miniscule by comparison.
So thanks to Jeremy for the article, also Bob Carter and Tom Gall for their time and effort in setting up the demonstration. This should certainly help re-inforce the continued popularity of the boat, and promote increased sales, as the new manufacturer (Collins Fibreglass) now also start to market the boat World-Wide.
LONG LIVE THE 15 , be it Spark , Dart or Sprint.
It's one hell of a boat !
