I can't get hold of a copy of the latest edition of Y & Y as it seems to be sold out everywhere that I have tried so far. Do you think an approach to the magazine to see if a copy of the test report could be posted on this site could be made or are there copyright or cost implications?

Hi Clive,
You have 2 options.
1) I've ordered some reprints of the 4 page report which will be able to distribute at the Dinghy Show to interested punters. We have not discussed how we will distribute to our members but we can clearly do this for a nominal sum to offset costs. They won't be available for a couple of weeks.
2) You can order extra copies of the whole magazine off the Y&Y website.

As a paid up subscriber of Y&Y, one can download the boat test (and many other articles) in Adobe Acrobat .pdf format. Unfortunately the new Sprint 15 review hasn't made its way to the website yet. If you still don't have any luck, drop me a line in a week or so and I'll see how progress is. (to encourage you to sign up, of course )

Laser centre and other boat manufacturers do have the Y&Y boat test reviews on their websites, so it must be possible. But I doubt they'd let it out this early, as it has only been released and I'm sure they want as many people to buy their mag as possible while the review's not freely available! Seems fair to me!

I got the reprints of the Sprint 15 boat test today - sooner than expected. I will be distributing them around to fleet captains, etc. but if anyone wants one mailed to them they should send me their address and a cheque for ?1 made out to "the Dart 15 Association" to cover the costs, etc. My address is Bob Carter, 13 The Brambles, Stevenage, SG1 4AU.
