Tow rope or GPS? [Frank]

Yesterday afternoon at Grafham poor old Bob (1945/2002) had a bit of a "Senior Moment" resulting in a tour of the lake trying to find the windward mark, to try and prevent this happening again in the future I'm up for suggestions to help the old fella out !

Guide Dog? [Martin Searle]

Post by Archive »

Martin Searle replied:

Well he could get a Guide Dog and then chuck it over the side when he gets lost, give the signal to go home and eh voila, of course it might be classed as illegal propulsion..... 4 Waterski's might be required though ;-).

Martin S.

p.s Is Bob's old boat up for sale? might be time to replace 1331.

1945 [Bob]

Post by Archive »

Bob replied:

Hi Martin
I was going to keep 1945 for a couple of months & then sell it early in the new year when the demand gets better.
If you are interested I'll let you know.
Cheers

Good news on Bob [Frank]

Post by Archive »

Frank replied:

I'm happy to report that I stopped off at Grafham this morning on the way to work, and can confirm that Both Bob's boats are in the boat park, so I think it's safe to assume that he eventually found his way ashore !!

Frank's Excuse [Bob]

Post by Archive »

Bob replied:

Hi Frank
Don't forget to get a harness for this Sunday. We don't want anymore excuses this week. Otherwise we might have to accept Erling's kind offer of paying Grafham a transfer fee to move you to Shanklin. That would increase the decibels on the South IoW coast.

Interest in 1945 [George Stephen]

Post by Archive »

George Stephen replied:

Hi Martin,

If you shuffle 1945 you can get 1594 - clearly a faster boat than 2002 if recent form is considered.

You sure you want Bob's even slower second boat?

George
