Thanks to everyone for such a good day on Saturday. I thought it was particularly professional for Beaver to organise such good weather!

This was my first event and even though I made a total a**e of myself (apologies to all the people at mark 7 in the second race), unfortunately I really enjoyed it and will attend further events.

I like to think I will add a bit of a wild card to your events by being a moving obstacle!

Next goal will be to actually finish! Thanks to all and especially to the committee boat (for rescuing me) and Bob, Steve and Erling for their encouragment.

Regards,Adrian 1874

PS I have now renamed my boat "Mr.Magoo"

Hoping to seeing you at Halifax in May, Erling will vouch that we can provide the sort of weather you're more used to!

I like the name, Adrian. I'm thinking of renaming mine "Gericatrix" - I must get a quote from Seve Sawford for that ('owmany letters?) Hope to see you again at an event soon. Watch out for the land if you go to Halifax, I hear it keeps looming up on you. You could always take a short cut across the moor, I suppose?
