Yes both. Erling is currently slaving over a mailshot, hoping to get it out before the postal strike & it will be on the website as soon as it has all been corrected (in the next day or so).

I have uploaded the updated file Erling sent me of the mailshot he has just sent out. This combines both the Notice of Race and the Entry Form along with a piece by Nick.

Download it from: http://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=10

I got my entry form & stuff through the post on Saturday so I guess most members will have received theirs by now. There are a couple of small errors on the form but do not be put off - the intent is good. Erling did a good job in very limited time.
The errors are
a) the Dinner is on Thurdsay night (not Sunday as it says on the form)
b) the go-karting is on 14 Aug - not 22 Aug as it says on the form.

Anyway take no notice & get your entries in

Regards

I am wondering where most people are staying at the nationals; camping or cottage, and which campsite. the campsite on the website that is within walking distance seems reasonable, but does any one know how far "walking distance" is?

Hi Robin
The Old Mill Caravan Park is what the Club recommend. It is at the Coppet Hall end of the beach where our boats and trailers will be. The beachmaster for tallying on & off will be located at that end of the beach too, so much of the time you will not have to go to the Clubhouse. From memory the campsite is within 250yds of where the boats will be parked. The Clubhouse is at the other end of the beach which is probably another 400yds so there can be a bit of walking involved. If you can put a bike on the trailer that can be handy. It seems we have not put the Welcome note from Saundersfoot Sailing Club on the website. This is an oversight - it explains where to go with your boat & trailer when you get to Saunsdersfoot and has a very useful little map. I have just sent it to you & our webmaster so it should be available in a day or so.
Regards
Bob

Saundersfoot Nationals - Accomodation available

Post by Adrian Whaley »

I have managed to make the most horrendous mistake in my diary believing that the Fastnet race that I'm taking part in (not in a Sprint 15 I hasten to add) was a week earlier than it actually is - it clashes with the Championship. Therefore, sadly :( I cannot now make it to Saundersfoot. As such, I have a great 3 double bedroom holiday house for the nationals week that I need to sell on. Details can be found on www.powells.co.uk - property reference is W524 Little Court. If you are interested please contact me on adrian@whaley.uk.com or 07764 666575
Thanks and sorry that I won't be there
