Hi, Mr.Magoo here 1874.
1874 has been at Amble for about 5 years now. I have owned it for about 3 and when the previous club member bought it we met the previous owner in Edinburgh.
He said he'd bought it from someone in the Isle of Man and the boat had a Manx boat number on the side.
Boat is in excellent nick after a refurb by Steve Sawford but the sails are the originals and a bit tired!
Boat is sailed generally in sport mode mostly 2 up in the north sea off the coast of Amble. We are tidal and only have 2 hours either side of high tide that can be limiting.
Does anyone else know anything about this boat???????
