My trampoline has small blobs of sticky tree sap all over it. Thought about using acetone to try and get it off, but has anyone got any suggestions? (including telling me that acetone won't work or would rot the tramp!)
On clothes, even goretex outdoor ones, I've used either:
Rubbing Alcohol
Hand Sanitizer (the gel stuff) as it contains achohol
or even WD40 works.
In all cases it's followed-up with a warm wash in the machine.
I've never tried this on a tramp with tree sap - but WD40 plus soap and water afterwards got rid of Gaffa tape residue recently with no issues with the tramp's condition after the wash.
