Hi Phil,
Yep - that way it gives you Saturday to travel down. Most holiday let's start at midday Saturday. I bet the fun events will follow and fill up the week
Cheers
Bob
So, can I have list of positives for a family holiday whilst I go off sailing for 3 days.
I will need to do a hard sell with the missus...
Looking on the Pentewan Sands Holiday Park site;
Lovely beach (tick) NB; I hate sand to the point that it is almost a phobia, but the rest of the family love it.
Good facilities (tick)
Cheap(ish).
Any other places to stay (wife would like 5*!),
Places to eat,
Things to do with kids...
I understand that the sailing club will have a new clubhouse by this time next year.
Just had a look at the Pentewan Sands Holiday park brochure for next year, had a bit of a shock when I realised that they have extended the peak period
an extra week compared to this year so the nationals now fall in that time which unfortunately means the price for a caravan has gone up by about £400 for the week
River Valley Caravan site London Apprentice is a lovely spot, close to food , 1 Mile from Pentewan . It has a small swimming pool, a lovely restaraunt close by. Lost Gardens Helligan, the Eden project n Mevagissey close by for entertainment. Stayed there this August and practiced a few sails at Pentewan in hopes of being there once again for 2013 nationals. The site was nowhere near as expensive as Pentewan Sands.
