Certainly this weekend taught me that what can go wrong will! with my sail not wanting to hook at the top of the mast on Sunday then battens deciding to come undone. All in all more preparation (it was first time I have put it on the water since the nationals last year) and debugging needed before trying to sail in those conditions. Oh well hopefully I will have got more practice by the time we all head to Cornwall.

Well done to everyone who ventured out on the water it certainly was a bit breezy  Well done to Kevin and Paul for the such close racing given the conditions.

My humble apologies to everyone, someone has kindly pointed out that I had not followed my own NOR when doing the results.

The NOR states that there was to be 1 discard when either 3 or 4 races are sailed in the event. Unfortunately I used my SSC spreadsheet that only gives a discard for 4 races. Consequently I have given Martin Searle more work to do at a time when he does not need that.

Martin has now revised the results to recognise the discard. Whilst it does not change 1st, 2nd or 3rd positions others will find their place has changed.

Lost the ball at the last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Blast.

A very comprehensive race report, well done everybody sounds exciting, congratulations Kevin another win under your belt.
Ian and I was competing in a 10 hour sailing event at Beaver on Saturday with some pretty strong winds as well, needless to say not many sailed on Sunday.
