Windsport Sprint 15 Coaching weeekend

Sprint 15 Coacing Update.
All good after the fun and hard work this weekend at the Windsport sponsored class coaching session for the six lucky winners. Strong and lighter winds over the two days , testing for the Instow sailors without their jibs, while the Shanklin teams, directed and driven by Liam, got to grips with how a coaching session works, what the flags meant and how many exersizes they could remember.
All top seceret, so expect to see a few Sprint 15 sailors out training and moving themselves up the fleet in 2016.
Well done to those who attened, hope the trip down to Windsport was well worth it.

Many thanks to Brian and the Windsport team for the Sprint 15 training weekend. I was one of the 6 lucky winners. Although the trek to Cornwall initially seemed a long way to go, I can confirm it was well worth it. The waters around Mylor, and further out in Falmouth bay, are probably as good as you can get in the UK.
Brians' teaching was patient and yet pushed all our abilities; I think we all learned something new. In my case it was man-up and don't cleat the main so much in stronger winds! (among many other things)
My problem now is to live up to training and show an improvement in results. I had hoped to keep it quiet from my fellow Draycote sailors, but unfortunately the word is out (thanks Roger), so no pressure there then!
