Sailjuice Winter Series

Post by Bob Carter »

The 2016-2017 Sailjuice Winter series kicks off at Draycote with the Draycote Dash on 19-20 November and it is open to Sprint 15s (plus Dart 18s and selected other small catamarans). Entries have to be in by Sunday 13 November.

Catamarans are also welcome at other events of the winter series as follows.

Datchet Flyer 10-11 December

Grafham Grand Prix 2 January

Rutland The Tiger Trophy Pursuit Race 5 February.

And there will be separate prizes for the catamarans.

Full details and how to enter are given on the series web site.

So if you are keen you can do all of these as well as the Sprint 15 winter series

Is anyone planning on taking their Sprint 15 along to these events?

I am thinking of doing Datchet and also Grafham.

Would be good to have someone to follow round the race track

Entries closed a week ahead this year, so no chance to see what the wind is doing before commiting ourselves.

With 130 boats on the lake it's pretty crowded too.
