Next up in the Winter TT series is a welcome return to Rutland! Briefing at 10ish with first race starting at 11am. The plan is for three races back to back. Steve Sawford is kindly co-ordinating the event for us.
Really enjoyed the event at Rutland , thanks to Steve for organizing . 3 back to back races in mid winter is a great format ! See you at Draycote for the next event
Yes, a big thanks to Steve for organising and thanks to his Speedy Sports company for providing the prizes. Added to that he even showed that his real 1733 boat could keep up with the nice new ones.
Apart from a starting hooter that was hardly louder than a gnat's f?rt, Rutland put on a great day for us and it's a shame that more could not travel.
Well done to Stuart for sailing a tactical masterclass series. The next few places were more tightly contested but George's consistency won him his "first ever 2nd place". A 1-2 for the new boats but older boats were close on their heels and I put it down to good sailing.
A lovely day with enough wind to occasionally lift a hull, it was great to be back and see old friends.
Many thanks to Steve and all at Rutland SC for a great day out on the water - lovely little breeze with some fabulous winter sun and the usual great company from all the protagonists. Very pleased to record only my second ever second place! Well sailed, Stuart - you were uncatchable and when pressed just extended the lead - how do you do it? Some great sailing all across the fleet and some VERY quick turnarounds between races - barely enough time to munch my banana. Perfect winter's day out.

Hi George,
Did you get someone to do a race report? I see that Rutland have not posted the Sailwave Results on their web site either. It would be good if they could.......
