Three weeks until Early Bird Nationals Entries close!

Hi All

Early bird discounted entries for the Sprint 15 Nationals close in just over three weeks time on 24th June.

The entry process is already available online with payment via BACS
(Paper based entry forms will be available in the forthcoming magazine)

The 2017 Sprint 15 Nationals make a welcome return to Thorpe Bay, Essex from 22nd to 24th July.

Free onsite camping. Lots of local accommodation - but worth getting your booking in early as its the first weekend of the school holidays in these parts. Its a fairly early start on Saturday - so you may like to book in from Friday night.
Evening meals available on Friday and Saturday nights plus the Class Association Dinner and entertainment on Sunday night.

When is the Nationals entries list going to be updated ??????? currently only 20

Entries get uploaded onto the website once we have confirmation of BACS payment.

I am currently bugging the treasurer every day for confirmation as new entries come in. There are another ten or more entries from the last 48 hours which will go up once payment confirmed.

Oh and when I can fit it around having to go to work and not being seconded full time onto the Nationals!

Hi Jenny

Thanks for uploading my Thorpe Bay Nationals entry. Your probably very busy as the deadline for the early-bird discount approaches.

As many of last years entrants to the Pwllheli Nationals travelled from the South Coast, I thought it right to return the favour and make the trek south. I'm grateful to the committee and 'event team' for organising this years Nationals. None of you get paid but give up loads of your time making sure the rest of us have a good competition.

I was'nt having a go Jenny, we are grateful you all do it, but it seems strange that it takes 7 Days for TBYC to inform the right people of incomming entries and Liam (Wouldn't be a problem if you used Paypal..) I paid by Fast Paymant !

Steve, I am sure Jenny will get everybody sorted out if there has been problems. It's good to see we are embracing technology with online entries.

I thought however I would say that unfortunately none of the Entry information is being processed by TBYC it is all going direct via the Association as with all Nationals.

The racing at TBYC will be prompt and accurate.

Hi All

We chose not to use Paypal because we (or our entrants) would have to pay for the privilege. BACS is free. Payment is coming to the Association not to Thorpe Bay.

Entries were fairly slow to start with - hence the infrequent updates. We then went from 20 to 50 in the space of the past five days! The Association Treasurer is understandably not up for sending me a payments update every three hours!

If you have received an email confirmation of your entry - you are all set. When I have confirmation via the Treasurer that your payment has been received - you will go up on the website.

And if you haven't entered yet - please do!

Check that your entry has been received here click on here and you will see all enteries
