I just received the latest NewSprint magazine and what a bumper edition it is. It is Yvonne's first edition and my word what a good start she has made. It looks really good and I will enjoy reading it over the coming week (or 2).

I was sorry to read of the demise of the Open Dinghy Club. 200+ years ago, people lived far away from the coast to avoid the press gangs. These days, developers will pay extortionate prices for land with a sea view. Small sailing clubs don't stand a chance.

Keith, how did you manage to weave Brexit into it? You should apply for a job at the BBC!

Well played indeed, Yvonne. The future of our great magazine (which is so dear to my heart) is in very safe hands.
We should all rejoice! How good it was to receive mine in the post and sit down with a wee dram to read it. Having not done that for many years, it was a real pleasure. I hope, Yvonne, you took my advice when you completed it and retired to a darkened room with a similar and much deserved libation.
