Hi all
I picked up my shiny new sail at the dinghy show and will start playing with it at Grafham this weekend.
So far I have 'enjoyed' the hour of careful measurements to position & then gingerly stick the numbers on.
I then chortled at the ease with which my battens slid into the crisp sail cloth.
However, I then wondered if my 'old' battens were up to the job of supporting a shiny new sail.
My quiver of battens, amassed over more years than I care to remember, are of widely differing ages.
Excluding any battens that have twisted, are all battens equal?
