It is with great regret that I write to inform you of the death of my father, Roger Love , of Rutland Sailing Club.
He died after fighting cancer ( HE kicked its ass !!) for the past 9 months.
His boat was "Maverick" - sail number 1884, and sailed to 10th place in the 1999 Inland Championships with my nephew, Gareth aged 12.
He had mareat respect for the Dart 15 fleet, (except for the person who `borrowed` his downhaul for this years inlands.....)

I would like his boat (now mine.... :-((( ) to go to someone who intends to sail it, rather than let it sit in a boatpark.....

Paul,
I am very sorry to hear of your father's death. Please accept the condolances of the Dart 15 Association.

When the time comes to sell the boat we have a list of sailors who are enthusiatic to buy a good second hand Dart 15 and would put it to good use. Please give me a call on 01438 354367 when you feel ready to sell it and I will give you the list.

Regards
Bob Carter (Dart 15 Association events secretary)
