I think you have missed the point, every club would like to hold a travelers event but Bob is saying if you dont travel to other events you dont deserve to hold one. I had already decieded the five events I was doing next year, three the same as this year and two clubs i didnt get to this year. I think it's a shame that people dont want to mix with other dart 15 sailors from other clubs as I thoughly enjoyed my first year of doing the travellers.

I thought the the point was to get high numbers racing and have a second south coast event. Gurnard or any Island venue would likely attract 30 boats. It might encorage us at Gurnard to try uni rig. I understand Shanklin S C not being able to stage an event next year but Yaverland may help out.
