We voted to hold our 2001 Dart 15 Nationals at Whitstable. Unfortunately it turns out this club is very busy and cannot fit us in in 2001, so we have booked that venue for 2002.
This left us with a dilemma for 2001, which is now resolved. We are returning to Pentewan to try out our old format again.(3 days racing and 3 days fun events). We have booked the last week in August which has lots of advantages:
1) The caravans and pitches are much cheaper that week.
2) The caravans and pitches can be booked for part weeks.
3) Bank Holiday Monday means 1 days less holiday required. For those just attending the races only one additional day is required.
4) It is late in the holiday allowing time for a hot, abroad, keep the wife happy holiday beforehand.
5) It avoids clashes with Gurnard week, Instow week and the Steel works shutdown(for the Beaver Clan)
Provisional details are as follows:
Saturday 25 Aug Travel Day. Welcome Drinks in the Bar in the evening.
Sunday 26 Aug. Practice lap & 1 Nationals Race. Lunch. 2 further Nationals Races B to B. Evening AGM (other TBD)

Tuesday 28 Aug 2 further Nationals Races (2 B to B, Lunch, prizegiving) Evening Free.
