I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experiences on putting a gennaker on a Dart 15 to go even faster. Do you think a Dart 18 gennaker kit would fit? Any input what-so-ever is welcome.

Nick Dewhirst has rigged up a Gennaker on #1821 - there was a picture of him sailing with it on the cover of our July '97 magazine. He also wrote up how to do it, but I cannot find the write up quickly. Perhaps Nick will read this and add comments/ corrections. The Dart 18 gennaker will be too big - Nick used a cut down Iso Genneker.
Pete Ansboro ( a one time Dart 15 sailor, who can sometimes be detected reading our chat page) also fitted a gennaker to his boat. I know he was interested in selling off the bits so if you are reall keen, perhaps he will make you an offer.
Generally such accessories are only a fun pursuit as our boat is strictly a one design.
