Erling Holmberg's bit of wood [Bob]

There are quite a lot of (well earned) complimentary comments about Erling on this web site. What no one discusses is his bit of wood.
He carries around this length of wood and maintains it is for tightening up the trampoline of his Dart 15. But there is a much more sinister use for his timber off cut. If members of his club refuse to by a dart 15 I hear it can get very nasty!!!!

Erlings big stick [Tim]

Tim replied:

Tell me about it!
I have only just got back from casualty, only to find a new Dart 15 in the front drive and a doll full of pins nailed to the front door.
He gets more scary by the day.

I hear that they are more friendly at Gurnard. They don't use Wardens yet.

If it is 1660mm............................... [Bob]

Bob replied:

If it is 1660mm it could double up as a Dart 15 tiller extension. We could use it on unsuspecting punters at the Dinghy Show on Saturday!
