Updates [Jonathan]

Jonathan replied:

Hi Chris,

Yes thought it about time to update the appearance a bit.

I've also just added a "most recent" button to the index page that displays the most recent 50 messages in reverse order - an easy way to check if a new posting has been added further down or on another page.

If anybody has any other usability ideas, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,

Jonathan

And another... [Jonathan]

I just knocked up a simple search engine. Note that it's not very sophisticated, so searching for:

tiller extension

will produce some results, but:

how long should my sprint tiller extension be?

is unlikely to find anything, as it just looks for a match on the string you type in. When I get a bit more time I'll try and implement a more intelligent system that splits the search string into separate words, and ranks answers based on how many of your words it finds.

Try to keep your search strings down to one or two words for now.

Cheers,

Jonathan

Getting it Better [George S]

Jonathon,

Make sure you get this weekend's sailing tuition in at Grafham before you think of more website improvements. If your sailing improves to the current standard of the website, the Grafham pros may rue their efforts!
