Here's 10 good reasons why you should attend the Northern Championships at BEAVER S.C.
1 You know where we are (see web-site if you're not sure)
The club is only 5 miles off the motorway when you exit the M18 at J6 (Thorne).
2 For those coming from the South, your journey will be about 2 hours shorter than having to go to Filey again .
3 No fuel crisis this year !
4 Beaver has it's own very competitive Dart15 fleet, and should be fielding approx 10 boats in an attempt to retain the Trophy and enjoy some exciting racing .
5 All entrants will enjoy free camping facilities over the weekend, and we will welcome visitors from Friday evening, for those not used to getting up early on Saturday .
Just give me a ring by Thursday night though if you are likely to arrive after 10 p.m.
6 Sailing takes place on an 80 acre reservoir, offering variable and interesting courses, as well as the luxury of jetties to keep your feet dry !
7 You can be assured of a warm welcome, much warmer food, and even hotter competition on the water .
8 Entry fee includes an evening meal on Saturday, plus free tea or coffee for all competitors .
9 Prizes will be awarded to all entrants - nobody goes home without one !
