Hi Bob
I see from your answer to Ben you say
just to ensure that the trapeze handles have been removed
. As my boat came setup for trapezing should I remove the trapeze wires for the nationals even though I couldn't use them with out a harness?
Not that I can think anyone would be that concerned in my case, I am just there to ensure everyone else does not have to worry about coming last!

Yes - some people get hiking help by hanging onto the handles. We insist that they are either:
1) removed (dead easy just shackles at the hounds before you put your mast up) or
2) tied foreward at the bridle chainplates if you do not want to take them off.

Still got to do that Steve. Luckily if i have to take the boat apart for traiing then i have the perect opportunity to clean off all of the grease and swop the traveller track round so that the dent in it from the mast-trailing mistake can be on the inside as well.
I believe the phrase is killing two stones with one bird.
