Got to sail my new DX sail on Tigershark.
WOW its more like a Great white now.
The Main sail is very controlable even in strong winds, The flat top seems to give much more control on when spilling the wind when needed and also breaking away when a heavey gust hits suddenly then springing back in absolute control it is as if the Tigershark was enjoing the sail more than me and only useing me as a ballast. The whole rig whistles the yanky doodle too.
On the Grafham Grand prix It was blowing up to a top 5 and soon realised that the DX jib was over powering the boat to the point that I was spilling most of the main to handle it.
So as designed the bigger jib will be perfect up to a top force 4 then the I would fly the standard jib thus allowing for it to be furled if the wind strength goes up.
THE DX SAIL IS NOT IN CLASS but is for fun
