If anybody has Windows 8 and pin the Sprint 15 web site to their desktop they should now be able to have the sail logo as a tile. I don't have Windows 8 so I have no idea if it is true.

Yes better but the '15' spot positioning needs to be centred
Cheers
Bob
PS Looking at photos I see the '15' position on sails does vary. Often it is in the higher position like your graphic, but it is also sometimes in the centred ( lower and in the middle of the arrow). I reckon the latter looks better. I'll look out Gordon's original graphic to see which is right.
PPS Yes folks our chairman designed our sail logo

This is the one I was sent, which looks nothing like what anybody has on their sails.

I should have the original on a harddrive somewhere at home as I took it from the MSC support boat whilst covering that TT event. It was before my days as a Sprint 15 sailor, although Jenny was well into her '15 stride by then.
I'm not sure how it came to get such prominence on the website front page. It was one of about half a dozen photos that I took that day and were submitted with the write-up. None of them appeared to be in the Sprint 15 photo archive (last I looked), but still that capsize shot seemed to pop up every 3rd or 4th visit to the site. Its almost like someone went out of there way to give it special prominence
Anyone want to 'fess up?
Its actually quite a small and blurred image taken with, by modern standards, a very poor digital compact camera. Perhaps its had its day now.

I found the original write-up still on the events pages. Turns out it was the 2004 TT:

Have put all the pictures that used to go on the front page on the Face Book.

Hi
When I view our home page on an iPad or on a pc on Google Chrome it looks nice and clean, if a little tall. It works fine with scrolling (but the pictures are disappearing off the bottom of the screen).
On Microsoft Internet explorer (#11) it does not look half as good. The pictures are truncated at about half height and the overall impression is a bit messy. Is this just me or do others have the same problems?
Cheers
Bob

Make sure you are not viewing the site in compatibility mode in IE11.
Also make sure you are viewing the latest style sheet by holding down Ctrl and pressing F5 when on the home page.
