Eurocat 2015 Update (1 to 3 May 2015)

Last year was €100 if booked in advance, otherwise €150. This year C3 costs €150 in advance, €180 otherwise. I don't think the C3 price has changed from last year, there's just one day's less competition. I might survive it yet!

I, also have sent an email querying the ratings and groupings to eurocat@yccarnac.com. Hopefully, lonely boats will sail with lonely boats, once more.

Paul and I have received replies from Leonie Le Corre and it appears that Lonely Boats are priced at the same cost as C4. Any entries that are mistakenly classified will be corrected/refunded at registration.

As you will see we have a reduction in entry fee, I expect, but I do not know the Hobie will be moved into C3.

This year yes Dart Sprint 15 is a C3 boat and it’s a decision from the SCHRS and FFVoile and not from the Club.
But when you read notice of race for entry fees : with C4 you have the price for lonely boat :


By April 17h 2015 On and after April 18th 2015
Race(s) 100 € 130 €
Long distance (only) 40 € 60 €
Race(s) and long distance 130 € 170 €

C4 & lonely boat : Race(s) and long distance for C4 100 € 130 €


1 or 2 people were wrong on their registration but we will refund at the Club during registration.

There's a late availability ferry, trailer and accommodation place available for Eurocat at Carnac next weekend. Meet up with Simon Hare at Farmoor. Sadly I'm crook so won't be going.
