Sean and Paul both being extremely generous with the light boat. :)

Paul still favourite at the weekend.
What is the low down on boats 2018 and 1957? Have you gone up the pecking order and become the number 1 seed at Shanklin

Scores are up

If anybody thinks they may have possibly fouled another boat in any of the races and not exonerated themselves with a 360 turn please can they send me an email requesting to be marked RAF (retired after finishing).

Many thanks for all the members of NDYC who helped make this a really special event.

Fraser and Paul deserve huge credit for pushing me all the way to the line. They sailed much better than me but didn't have the advantage of Sean's fast boat.

If anybody took pictures please can they send them to webmaster@sprint15.com so I can publish them on this site.

Big THANK YOU to NDYC for a great event arranged at short notice and all the hard work to make it happen. Great turnout, superb sailing and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend all round at one of my favourite venues.
Congratulations to our new Sport Champion - well sailed Liam.
Well played to the host of youngsters who turned up and livened the proceedings both on and off the water. 8)
Very happy to take home the 'Old Git' trophy

Another great event put on by Instow.

Just re-iterating George's comment a big thank you to the whole of the NDYC team for making the Sport Nationals work so well again, even with such early tides. It was great to see so many helms out on the water, both young and old, and everyone enjoying the racing up and down the fleet in ideal sailing conditions. Thank you too for the fantastic catering, it was much appreciated by all.

Well done to Liam Thom for becoming our 2018 Sports National Champion and to Hector Bunclark for becoming Youth Champion (8th overall and in the top 10 in all 6 races!). Watch out Liam!

How is it that an intrepid sailor, who sails on the high seas, gets lost in a river?

I think going clockwise confused many people.

Excellent event chaps.

Well run event, with the usual tide & wind challenges of the estuaries.

Great company & beer & cycle.

Must do it again, perhaps sooner than the 9 year gap from last time I did it?

Do I get the long distance trophy? 301 miles each way.
