I have just started sailing my Dart Sprint mode but havn't got round to getting a longer tiller extension so I'm still sailing with the standard one, it's ok but really not quite long enough when out on the wire.

I was wondering how long a sprint tiller extention has to be. I have looked on the laser centre's website and they don't appear to sell one; I have also looked on Steve Sawfords website but I'm a bit unsure about which of the two he sell's to get, I assume it's the 2.4 m one because that's longer of the two but I wanna be sure. Can anyone help? Also does anyone know how much he charges to post one roughly, I live in Essex if that helps.

Thanx people

Hi Keith,
Most of us have bought the Dart 18 single handed tiller extension and shortened it by 4-6inches. It ends up just under 8 ft. Say 7ft 10inches from memory.

PS Steve Sawford from Rutland sells them ready made up, i think. He will probably reply to this if provoked!!!
