I wonder if you can help?

My launching trolley has fallen apart with the rivets coming through the
fibreglass of the hull-rests. It may be repairable though I suspect a repair won't last long. Are you aware of a second hand launching trolley that might be around?

Regards

Simon

Hi Simon,
No I'm not aware of any market in second hand launching trollies. The best thing is to get a fibre glass repair kit (including fibre glass matting, resin, etc) and do a repair. It's not too difficult, starting with the fibre
glass mouldings.
Take it all apart
Dry and clean up the mouldings. Remove broken bits and roughen up areas to
repair with coarse sand paper.
Repair/build up the (dry) mouldings (like paper mashee using the matting & resin). This will need several layers applying on successive days.
Reassemble using stainless steel bolts (not rivets)
Put some new foam pads(Millets camp bed pads) on with Evostick
The whole lot will cost less than ?25
Cheers
Bob
