Winter is a dangerous time. Having some spare time and a set of weighing scales, I decided to weigh my hulls, finding them to be 38kg each. I see from the spec on the website that hull weight is given as 29kg. Are my hulls each 9kg overweight compared to new ones or is the figure of 29kg more of an aim rather than the typical weight of a new hull??

PS Don't spare me the truth!!!!!

I've never weighed my hulls so I cannot say.

That is George Wood's old boat. Perhaps you could ask him how much filler he put on it!!!!!

The best time to weigh Hulls is when they are delivered on a new boat. If Paul Smith (or any one else with a new boat) reads this before he puts his together perhaps he can weigh it and let us all know.

Cheers

Latest delivery date for my new boat is 2nd February, so I will try to get them weighed then, hopefully to report that they are indeed 29 Kg.
If however they turn out to be say 25 Kg or less, this may remain classified information !!
