Any suggestions how to keep the main sail & jib in good condition and clean.. other than inverting regularly in fresh water.. which I'm good at anyway. There's a stain on the main where it rubs against the shrouds down wind.

Thanks

Sail Marks [Dartful Codger 3]

Hi John
Regarding the shroud marks, you may like to consider swapping to the plastic coated options available from Spencer Rigging on the Isle of Wight (look in the Suppliers section for details). You can purchase a pair of shrouds for approx ?25, or a little extra if you have them pre-fitted with the white plastic bottom covers .
These are kinder to the sail and will stop it marking up any more - a worthwhile investment I think.

Hi John,
You can scrub them with White Wizard Cloth cleaner from Lakeland Plastics. It does them no harm and gets a fair bit of the grime off.
