Hi DB - Whatever that stands for
I sail at Beaver S.C (Inland Reservoir near the junction of the M18 and M62), but most Southerners also regard this as the 'frozen North' - how North are you ?
Basically, a wet suit would be the minimum requirements for a Dart 15, which tends to be a wet boat when sailed in anything above a F3, but even wetter if you are sailing on the sea through waves, so you should then also wear a spray suit on top , or ideally a dry suit instead of a wet suit .
In the Winter months, you would be well advised to stick to a dry suit.
Regarding spares, no worries there matey , all parts are available through the Laser Centre in Banbury , or through the Dart15 association , where you may get some of them cheaper . ( See web-site for more info. )
NOTE: Although the Laser Centre do not actively market this boat at the moment , there is still a healthy demand for it, and current new boats are still being made to order through them . The class is very buoyant at the moment , and enjoys healthy turnouts for open meetings around the country , and for the Nationals , and is generally increasing in popularity .

Come up and see us some time - or should that be down ?
