This is much more limiting than previous years and means taking lots of time off work to take advantage of it. It will really limit the number of punters who come. Most people will want to come Friday Night or Saturday morning and leave Monday afternoon. Can we try harder with Red Funnel and also try Wight Link? Otherwise it leaves us with sailing across.

Has Roger given you the correct details? The restriction is basically that you cant't travel between 1200 and 2100 on the Friday.

Their initial response was more restrictive, however I managed ( after a number of calls ) to get the restrictions limited to the above.

I don't have any contacts at Wight Link - I don't know if any of the Shanklin crowd can help here?

Only being able to travel before 7am - YES FOLKS THATR IS REALLY 7AM - is a bit tough.
Do you agree that is the requirement?
