Hi Sprint Guys, Where should I look for a reasonable harness. I intend to Sprint at Nationals so this will be a very steep learning curve, any hints gratefully received.

I can recommend a Busta Short Course harness, which is similar to a windsurfing 'nappy' with no back or shoulder straps. It is quite comfortable, gives better freedom of movement than one with straps and can be removed quickly if necessary. Only problem is I had to order it direct from Busta and have not seen any in the shops. Happy New Year.

I haven't used mine extensively, but it has been very comfortable when I have, it's a Gul harness with nice wide spreader bar & quick release on the shoulder, retail at about ?80 from most "good stockists" as they say. I think I'd prefer this to Alistairs, as you can relax in a horizontal position, not using stomache muscles, it's actually much easier than all that hiking stuff... which makes me sweat !
