Ange & I were at Hong Kong at Christmas so we took the opportunity to look up Keith Bartlett and Co. Keith and Barbara are have a great time in Hong Kong - Keith took his Dart 15 out when he was seconded to Hong Kong for 3 years and has since been responsible for the purchase of 3 new Dart 15s into the Lantau Boat Club - the latest Monte Carlo has just been delivered. Keith spends his time between travelling in China in the week, doing family stuff on Saturdays and sailing on Sundays ("no wet suit needed all year") and taking extensive holidays which he has accrued over the years. It's a tough life.
We had a meal with the family Bartlett's and Keith was able to arrange for me to borrow a Dart 15 so I could do a Sunday racing at the Lantau Boat Club - I was absolutely gutted when a bad back prevented me from doing the sailing.
Anyway the Bartlett's send their regards to all their friends in the Dart 15 Class and are looking forward (???) to their return in 2004!
I would like to thank Keith and Barbara for their help and hospitality.
Regards
