The Grafham Catamaran Open is on 15/16 October and naturally I'm expecting many Sprint 15s to take part - especially from the Grafham Club. It is traditional to have a meal and bit of a social on the Saturday night. Once again GWSC have elected to hold a disco and we have found in the past that this get's in the way of conversation. We have therefore decided to go to the Lion at Buckden (which is 2 miles up the road from the Grafham Club) for a meal and I have provisionally booked a table for 26 (max) to eat at 7.30pm. This is the same as we did last year and similar to the meal we had at Carsington a few weeks ago, both of which were very successful. The cost is ?17.50 for a 3 course meal. See the menu below. I will have to firm up the numbers a week or so before the do and will also have to provide details of the meal selections a couple of days before the day.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so if you want me to reserve places please get back to me asap. I will keep the current list of attendees on this chat page so you can see if you are in and if your chums are coming. Please tell to your friends who may not be on the web.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Regards
Bob
