I was having a read of the rules now that they're up on the website, and came across this one:
For sport mode:
A longer tiller extension (up to 8ft, 2.440 metres) may be carried. Telescopic tiller extensions are not allowed.
I was thinking about buying a single telescopic tiller so that I could easily switch between solo and two-up sailing. Wouldn't it make it easier to go out on the wire, (i assume, i still haven't had the chance to sail my 15!)
My tillers have seen better days, the long one especially. Are there any aproved tillers out there and how much am I likely to pay for one?
And one more thing, I don't suppose anyone know's who the owner of the 15 is in Lee-On-the-Solent-Sailing-Club (LOSSC)? I'd quite like to get in touch with them to chat about what it's like to sail from there!
Regards,
Chris.
