WHIC are very cheap, but notoriously tight on claims to keep the cost down for Sprint 15 Association Members.

To keep within the subject: my insurance is with WHIC but everyone in the club raves about Red Insurance (see Steve Willis's note in the previous thread about this). Also have a look at Noble Marine they did Ok rates for my old Pacer dinghy.

But anyway long time no see...

I guess you want to try and keep that Club Championship trophy in the family this year by doubling up your chances, whereas I want it back so I can start my 3rd hat trick. No doubt we'll have some close races as in the past. My 'plan' for the year is to do more sporting than una-rigging plus I'm no longer a 'heavyweight' (under 90kg), also I'll be out from time to time in my Laser.

Now your memory is failing - I told you we were going to Gran Canaria, not Lanzarote....

I'm beginning to think that your increasing age is being accompanied by a bigger increase in senility than one would expect. Or is it that you have a forgettory rather than a memory? Not that I'm any better - but I am older!

Just like to say thank you to david lloyd at WH insurance for my recent claim. Snapped mast and ripped tracks of boat.Total repair would write off boat but within a week the bulk of the claim was approved and sorted.
This was a relief because the premiums are cheap and im told claims with WH used to take a long time to settle.Now competing in dinghy week,got three 1st,s and a second in dart fleet with 2 races to go.

Windsport provide the claims support for many dinghies and catamarans, so we are coming from the other end.
Jon Tuckwell from what was Red insurance and now Mardon has always been quick and efficent in settling claims both from the custmer side and from our side, if that helps. You can talk with Jon direct or email him john.tuckwell@mardon.co.uk.
