I remember that Dart 18 early trailers used to have the boat broken down and I want to have one built so I can break the boat down and keep the boat at home. Has anyone designed their own or have one?

The main design question is - can you put the hulls on top of the box without it becoming top heavy - many thanks.

Hi Keith,
The thing to do is to use a second hand Dart 18 trailer made for taking the boat broken down. Stuart Snell does this. The boat does not go on top of the box - there are arms which the hulls slide onto in the holes for the beams. When these trailers are used for the Sprint 15 only one of these arms goes inside the hole for the (front) beam and the hull has to be tied down on top of the rear arm. It works OK like that.
