Does anyone have a normal length tiller bar going cheap? My cat came with the extra long 'sport' version - which will be handy when I get enough wind & courage (strangly I don't seem to get both at the same time) to go trapezing - but it's a pain for normal sailing, especially in low winds when I have to sit at the front and I can't get it past the mast...

Thanks,

Standard is only about ?30 available from SS Marine or Windsport.

Don't think you'll many going spare due to breakages, or like me loosing the tiller & con bar in a wipeout!

It's cheaper to buy the bits if you can source some cheap tubing, but at the above price is it worth the effort?

You may be lucky & find a dedicated sprinter willing to part, but that would make the boat slightly less attractive to a newcomer.

P.S. Good advert, I'll look you up next time I'm in need !

Charles.

?30 is a lot more realistic than the prices I saw in the local shop... I'll take a look, thanks. 8)
