A year ago I bought my Sprint from Steve Sawford. I am now a wheelchair user but I wansn't ready to give up the exitement of sailing at speed, but sailing normally if I didn't feel up to it...the Sprint does both.
Thanks to Steve Willis and the Seasalter lot for the teach-in at the beginning of the year. This showed me what the boat would do in a blow...but they created a monster! The highlight of the year being myself and a rather large crew (combined weight 34 stone!) being the only boat to finish a race at Sheppey in a F7/8...the rest were blown out.
I just love the looks I get when people ask what boat I've got and I point to the Sprint...priceless!
