Sport Nationals date change

I am afraid that I have made a bit of on oversight.
The dates that we had chosen for the Sport Nationals at Gurnard, coincide very nicely with the Isle of Wight Festival.
This will cause all sorts of problems with accommodation, ferries and volunteers, so it has been decided by myself, the race officer and Bob in Australia to attempt to move the event.
The most obvious weekend to choose is the following one of the 15,16,17 June 2007.
I have to state that this has yet to be confirmed by Gurnard SC but I felt you should all know ASAP that we have a problem.
So far the only accommodation booking I am aware of is in our two holiday properties by the North Devon sailors which I have re-booked.
I will endeavour to keep you all informed via this chat forum.
If anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

 Disappointed the event has to moved, as I was planning to attend, having booked the time off work. Sod's law says that the following weekend is one I can't make. Looking forward to 2008 at Instow.

Hi Carl,
Both Ray and I from Carsington are booked into the Woodvale for the original date. Please confirm revised date asap so we can rearrange. We wouldn't want to miss the great sailing and fun at Gurnard.

I have just had confirmation from Gurnard SC that they are happy to run the Sport Nationals on the revised dates of the 15th to the 17th June 2007.

Peter - I am sorry to mess you around and I hope that sods law does not prevail.

George - It is great that you and Ray are planning to come. If you have any problems with the Woodvale get in contact with me.

I will be providing details of any ferry deals soon.
If anyone is having problems with accommodation there may be space in the new cafe/B&B at the Gurnard Marsh Dinghy Park.
